Project in the center of Katowice. The first stage of completion took place at the end of the 1980s. A little later, when serious recession began in Europe, business, including car business, flourished in Poland. Poles, even not the most wealthy ones, were planning to buy the newest Mazda model, in instalments at worst. In this situation, Mazda dealer from Katowice decided to carry out a second stage of the project - the use of a mezzanine and related construction of stairs and a landing with specific requirements due to height restrictions. This type of challenge required unconventional measures. In addition to drawings, the authors practically made a model of stairs and a landing of corrugated cardboard and wood in a 1: 1 scale. Some retail and formal decisions were made during assembly and implementation. A kind of architectural happening.
