Katowice, Bankowa St.
Project: 2013

15 years ago it was evaluated that the liquidation of lumped slag, which was the roof insulation in the 1960s, would allow for the construction of a light floor. Its steel mullion-transom structure was filled with lightweight blocks, and the roof was made of filigree wooden planks. Several years later, thermomodernization produced the final look. Flame granite slabs of the stairs harmonize with the foreground.
