Katowice, OMP 1 Sq
Project: 1993
Built: 1994
It is probably the only facility of this type in Poland whose facades, distinguished by a light background from the dark facades of neighboring tenements, serve as notice boards. The floor made of material imitating a basalt cube connects the public pavement space with the main part of the hall, intended for customers. Through the large, semi-circularly closed window openings, filled with single sheets of glass, you can observe the square.
The view is not limited by unnecessary window sills, muntins or curtains. The street "bursts" into the interior of the office, which lives by its rhythm, reviving at rush hour and dying with the onset of night.
