Katowice
Built: 2014
It is a project erected on an undeveloped plot of land. Although no initial restrictions existed, its body is restrained, rectangular, situated in the northern part of the longitudinal plot, so that the living quarters of a family of four open onto the southern garden plot. Interiors are high, with a two-storey opening of the dining area with an adjacent kitchen and a fireplace lounge on the ground floor with a lounge area on the first floor. The whole is enclosed with wooden and steel stairs hanging on steel thin bars and a carved fireplace defining the soul of the house. Some of the walls and ceilings of the house left in the natural structure of in-situ poured concrete create a good setting for minimalist furniture. In 2014, the house was selected to represent Polish Architecture in the 8th edition of the exhibition of detached houses in the countries of the Visegrad Group.
